Add a logo without losing QR readability

Treat branding as a refinement after a plain QR code has been shown to work.

Keep the code’s structure visible

Use a clear dark-on-light combination and preserve a quiet margin around the code. Keep the corner markers unobstructed. Start with a small central logo and compare it with the original unbranded version.

Use the supported image input

The plugin’s logo input accepts common raster image formats such as PNG and JPEG. Prepare a simple logo with enough contrast at a small size. Do not assume an SVG logo upload is supported just because the final QR code can be exported as SVG.

Validate in context

Test the exported code on the background and at the size used in the final composition. Try more than one phone and ordinary lighting conditions. If scanning becomes unreliable, simplify the styling and reduce the logo’s interference before increasing decoration.
